This and That

Logan told Matt and I last week that we were better than the "bestest" hotel!! ... Coming from Logan that is a huge compliment!

Dilon got the game ball at his last baseball game!  He had a line drive that got two runs in, stole his way to 3rd,  and stopped a few balls, fielding, at 3rd base.  This is his first time playing baseball and is really enjoying it.  That was his first base hit.  He has been working so hard!

Pine Wood Derby 2013

Dilon's 2nd Pine Wood Derby was last night! (Can't believe that I'm getting this done the next day:) Matt had missed it last year and he had so much fun getting to see Dilon participate in it this year.

Jodie's Soccer Medal

One of the best things about playing sports for little ones is the medal at the end...of course along with the snacks after games and the friends they play with!!  I love this age.  It is just about having fun, friends, and playing!

Nature Center

These two shots are of the fire that was started down in the reeds by the inlet.  It burned a good section of the reeds, but it did make the view better. You could see further than normal to where the water ran toward the ocean!

We went on a trip with our co-op group to the local Nature Center.  I had fun taking pictures while the kids were drawing, writing, and asking the staff questions.  I remember trying to get a picture of Logan, but that was like trying to catch the wind on this particular day... he had friends, cool things to see, and he was outside on a beautiful day.  It is so much fun to see him just competly enjoying the things around him to the point that he couldn't be stopped for a picture!!

The Boys of Summer

The boys are having their first season of baseball!  They have both played t-ball when they were around 4 or 5, but this is our first time with the real deal!

Funny thing...Dilon is on the New York Yankees and Logan is on the Boston Red Sox!  We laughed because that is a rival team and these boys are not rivals...best buddies!!
