San Diego Botanical Gardens

Last week the kiddos and I visited the SD Botanical Gardens...It was beautiful and the kids really enjoyed it.

Logan didn't have any favorite parts because he like the whole thing.  He took many amazing pictures while we were there and here are a few....He says he wants to be a photographer now!

Big Bear

This crew took a trip to the Big Bear Mountains this past weekend!  It was so much fun and such a needed break from the hustle and bustle of city life.  City life has so many great things and great opportunities, but there is nothing like trees, peace and quiet, and the great outdoors.

We had such a good time and can't wait to go back.  I felt my sanity restored- ha, ha, ha.  My family appreciated it as well:)

Halloween 2013

238th Marine Corps Ball

We had such a great time last night with Logan at the Ball.  They all get to go when they turn 8 and it was Logan's year, and he really felt like he lucked out because it was at the Disneyland Resort Hotel.  It was quite the venue and there was evidence of Mickey everywhere...thank goodness for eyes of the youth because Logan noticed tons more than I would of otherwise noticed.  In the carpet, on the chairs, on the walls, and even on the plates....

Logan said his favorite things was the food, the video they showed (it was good!), and fist bumping with the General :).

Dilon and Jodie took the pictures for us and did a great job!!

Booger Bear is 8!

Our Booger Bear turned 8 ten days ago and I can't believe it!!  Pictures do not do justice for how much excitment Logan brings to his birthday!  Every gift is the best ever and he loves it all and makes sure the person who gave it to him knows it!  Lots of screams and laughs for this boy!

We started with going to the swimming pool and then that afternoon had his birthday.  Spiderman birthday cake with hamburgers and hotdogs!  All smiles!

 

 

 

We love this little boy!!  He is such a joy and a constant ball of energy! I hope he keeps his zest for life becasue it is contagious and makes those around him happy as well!!

Whoo Whoo..Jodie is 5!

Only 3 days after we moved into our house, our baby girl turned 5!  She was so excited to be the first one to have a birthday in our new house!

We started the day with a trip to Build-A-Bear in Temecula!  I thought she would take her time and look through her options for a while...nope!  We were in and out in 20min.  She loved it!!  The bear she picked reflects her personality...all spunk and glitter and adorable!

We then had the Neill's over and celebrated this little cutie turning 5!  Pizza and a Rio ice cream cake!

 

 

What a special little girl! So thankful for her in our lives!!
