Yesterday, the kids had a scheduled visit with the dentist. Logan went first and I could hear him and the hygienist having a good conversation from the waiting room. I could hear laughter and a few "get out of here's" from the hygienist, so as always with Logan I was curious! When she came out to give me a report about his teeth, I also got a report on what was said. Many of the stories were cute, a few were tall tales, but one in particular stood out...
She had asked Logan if he liked spider man, well anyone who knows Logan knows he loves superheroes of all variety's, and he answers her with, "Yes, I like Spider man a little." (demonstrating with his fingers a little). But, he continues, "I love JESUS alot!!" (demonstrating by spreading his arms wide open!)
Love the heart of that little boy!
We also spent the end of that day at our first Pack Meeting...Dilon got his wolf, 2 arrow points, and a belt loop! He has been working so hard! Proud of him and all my kids!

Good Times in Georgia
As a family we love Georgia! We always look so forward to going back and seeing family and friends, and visiting some of our favortie places!
This summer when we visited we had such a great time. We were able to take the kids to some very fun places and to visit family! We loved it!
My Mom has the largest supply of lincoln logs and Matt and Dilon built this huge tower!
Swimming at Ms. Paula's! She was Dilon's favorite speech teacher and still is! We love her!
No we did not put the kids in a cage, just visiting the local Bear Hollow "zoo".
Jessica and Lucas joined us!
We had also planned to go tubing in the mountains in the little town of Helen, GA. Unless it was thundering and lighting we figured we would be good- rain couldn't of stopped us as hot as it had been. We just never planned on having the coldest day in months on the day we were jumping into cold mountain water. My car thermometer literally read 68 degrees at noon! The temperature had not been below 90 degrees in forever. I was not getting in that water with air temperature that cold, and with no sunshine. No Way!!
So, we headed on over to Mamaw's for lunch and delicious pound cake. We had a great time and caught some good pictures as well. Don't miss the one with four generations of girls!
Four Generations! Pretty Cool!
We also went to Matt's mom's house, but because I forgot my charger for my camera we do not have any pics from while we were there! But, I can tell you we spent alot of time fishing, swimming, and tractor riding!! Fun for all!

What?????
Last week we had doctor appointments and while I was there I needed to check and make sure that Logan was all up to date on his shots. He kept asking if he had to get a shot, over and over. I was telling him we are just going to check and make sure that he was up to date and then we would go from there.
Well, we went into the office and she informs us that he was good. Happy, excitement, and glee from Logan, right, WRONG!!
Here the waiting room is full of anxious parents and crying, worrying children anticipating a shot. And out of the office comes mine screaming and crying out that he WANTS a shot- WHAT???? Full of embarassment, I drag him and his siblings out of the office as a marine behind me calls out that it was so cool that my kid wanted a shot- wanting to know how I rasied such tough boys!
We get into the hallway and I bend down to puzzle out why Logan wanted a shot. In between tears he informs me that he wanted a SUCKER!! Bless his heart! I let him know that a shot is not required for a sucker and when we got home, Logan, Dilon, and Jodie all got a sucker!!

Logan's Lost His First Tooth
This past week, Logan lost his first tooth (thanks Leah). He was so excited and felt so BIG!! We took a picture and he wanted Squeak to be in it too. I guess Squeak did too, because he joined Logan in a big smile.
Right before bed, Logan lost his tooth, though I am really surprised it did not happen earlier in the day as much as he played with it:) Anyway, he was really upset. We had been looking for it when Dilon walked into the room and says, "Did you pray?" Logan instantly began a prayer that he would be able to find his tooth. Right after that he did. He quickly, then, said a prayer of thank you!! I love the heart of my boys!

Tutu's
On our 10 year anniversary, Matt surprised me with some beautiful flowers. Jodie was loving the pinks and purples and kept saying how beautiful they were!!! And then, with an expression of pure delight she says, "and that one has a tutu." (referring to the rose)
So adorable...I will never look at a rose the same!

Logan's Birthday
Logan was born during the time that Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and we have forever called him our little hurricane, so I guess it was kind of appropriate that he celebrated his 6th birthday as Irene was hitting the east coast!
Since we left N.C. and headed to G.A. we did some celebrating in both places.
We headed to Chucky Chesse's early on Saturday morning. It was so much fun, which is a lot for me to say. I normally do not like places like that, but we got there as they opened and there was no one there but us, Grandmama, and our friends who escaped the hurricane with us.
Then this last weekend we had his birthday cake and presents.
I can't believe our "booger bear" is 6 years old! It has been such a joy to hang on to the ride that he has taken us on in these 6 years- we look forward to many more. A good laugh is never far off- either from something said, done, or just a look from those happy eyes. We love you!

Dancing
Today was Jodie's first day of dance class! She has been looking forward to it all week and was so ready to get started. It was adorable how excited she was.
She would not put her hand down. I was doing good to get it out from in front of her face.
She also could not stop moving- she had to practice!
